I’ve lived in Tower Grove South for most of my life (about 17 years) and I love the atmosphere. My neighbors are all very friendly and we all know each other. The location is great.

Ambiance Urban Chestnut Brewing Company has two locations in the St. Louis area. I visited the one in the midtown. Apparently the big different is this location has an outdoor biergarten and the other location has a massive bierhall. I also believe this location has a smaller food menu and less beers on tap.

This location should really be everyone’s First Urban Chestnut experience. When you open the door from the inside bar going out the Beer Garden it feels like you are being transported to a different place.

Try the URB research room across the street to give your guest that insider buzz we all want to feel. Great Octoberfest at UCBC. They have plenty of seating in multiple areas including a very large tent so shade is available. And of course they have plenty of beer. Several different bars makes getting your beer quite convenient.
