How do I set up VersaWorks?
Step 1: Configure the printer settings
- Click the [Start] button in Windows, and then click [All Programs] (or [Programs]) – [Roland VersaWorks] – [Roland VersaWorks].
- Configure the [Port] setting.
- Click [Verify].
- Enter a nickname for the printer in the [Nick Name] box.
- Click [Apply].
- Click [OK].
What does contour cutting mean?
Contour cutting is the process of cutting around the outer edge of a printed image in a predetermined shape or following the very contour of the design. Now, instead of paper and scissors, visualize the same image printed on sticker material and cut out quickly and precisely with a computer-guided cutting process.

Why is the cut contour line not showing up in versaworks?
Attached is a Corel file with a cut contour. But when I pdf the file and add to the versaworks queue the cut line appears as a magenta elipse. Does anybody know why this is happening. I have printed thousands of labels in the past, but from time to time I am faced with this issue,
What to do if your contour line is not showing up?
Trying to find which one can be a pain in the neck. Try opening a CDR file that has worked for you. Then go into the Publish settings, general tab and add that PDF style to your list. Open the file in question and then Publish PDF and select the newly added PDF style. It should work.
Can you cut contour line in Corel 12?
I right clicked the VW desktop icon, and selected ‘run as administrator’, a fresh screen opens and I can contour cut now, both Corel 12 and X3 versions contour cut. Thank you to everyone here for helping out.
