Bennett proposes to Daya but has qualms about her extended family, especially Cesar. Nicky and Boo find that they have been robbed of the heroin they were hiding.

Why does Bennett leave the crib?
After pledging to help raise Daya’s child, Bennett visited Daya’s mother’s boyfriend Cesar to get an idea of what life would be like in the Diaz household for his baby. Bennett left the crib, which once served as Daya’s crib, on the side of the road and drove off, never to be seen again (possibly).

What happens to Dayas baby?
After Daya gives birth, Aleida lies to Delia, informing her that the baby was a boy and was stillborn, although the baby is alive and in fact a girl. She is sent to live with Aleida’s partner Cesar. Daya’s daughter is taken into Child Protective Services along with the other children in his care.
