Recently on business in Anchorage, Alaska and this 40 minute drive to Girdwood was well worth it. Spent some at Aleyska Resort and took the tram to the top and the view was spectacular. The resort itself is beautiful and the people were so friendly and information. I would recommend visiting the small, quaint town.
