Why do experiences shape us?
The meaning we create from our experiences shape who we are. One way we learn to trust others is through getting to know their story, learning about their experiences and the learnings that have emerged. As a way to share life stories together I led them through an activity simply called Tell Your Story.
How does attitude affect behavior?
Attitudes can positively or negatively affect a person’s behavior. A person may not always be aware of his or her attitude or the effect it is having on behavior. People with these types of attitudes towards work may likewise affect those around them and behave in a manner that reduces efficiency and effectiveness.
Why is attitude so important?
Our attitude is what influences all our actions. It is only the right attitude, which gets us good results. All the smiles and hand-shakes are not going to get you far, if you do not have the attitude to help others, without any selfish expectations in return.
How do values affect your life?
Your values form the foundation of your life. They dictate the choices you make and determine the direction that your life takes. Your values will influence your decisions related to your relationships, career, and other activities you engage in. Yet despite this importance, few people choose their values.
What is values in human behavior?
Values are socially approved desires and goals that are internalized through the process of conditioning, learning or socialization and that become subjective preferences, standards, and aspirations. They focus on the judgment of what ought to be. This judgment can represent the specific expression of the behavior.
What does effect on others mean?
verb. to change or influence something. If something affects something else, it has an effect on it.
What does it mean when someone has an impact on you?
have an impact on (someone or something) To affect or influence someone or something. Of course your decision has an impact on me—I’m your wife!
