Does girraween have snow?
Snow has fallen in the park as early as the 13th of May and as late as mid November, but it’s mainly through June and July that Girraween’s snowfalls are experienced.

Are there any animals in Girraween National Park?
Although not really an arch, this is an attractive feature and the walk provides good views of the creek and of The Pyramid in the distance. (The track to The Pyramid was closed during our visit and didn’t look like opening soon.) Our only wildlife encounter was a young brown snake near the closed Visitors Centre.
