What is MEUC unemployment?

Mixed Earners Unemployment Compensation (MEUC) is a new program created by Congress. It helps gig workers, freelancers, and other self-employed workers access additional unemployment benefits. Eligible MEUC recipients will receive an additional $100 per week on top of their normal unemployment insurance benefits.

The best proof of net earnings from self-employment is your federal tax return for the year before you filed for Unemployment Compensation.

Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) DUA has implemented the extended PUA program and benefits are available until the week ending September 4, 2021. PUA claimants may now receive up to 79 weeks of benefits.
